Abstract

In the context of Sperone Speroni's Dialoghi, the dialogues on love — and the Dialogo d'amore in particular — occupy a position of central importance. With reference to the historical character as a significant literary personality of the period, the figure of Tullia will be investigated primarily from the perspective of her role as the dominant interlocutor of Speroni's Dialogo d'amore.
